TEN |
| Information |
Award winning visual artist Hetain Patel presents TEN. This new live work for three performers exists between dance, music and spoken word, exploring the rich spectrum between British and Indian identities.
Devised in collaboration with acclaimed writer/dramaturge Michael Pinchbeck (The White Album, Nottingham Playhouse) and Tabla player Hiren Chate (Complicite, A Disappearing Number), TEN is visually stunning, as sharp as its captivating rhythm, and seductively physical.

| Company History |
Hetain Patel has exhibited primarily as a visual artist since 2004. Since then his mutimedia and live works have been shown nationally and internationally.
From 2006 challenging his culturally questioning solo practice he has collaborated with musicians and dancers. With TEN Hetain is making work that operates between cultures and art forms. With a classical musician composing for live art and percussionists working as dancers, Hetain hopes to push what a creative practice can be.

"Hetain Patel distills all that is amazing about true creativity. There is magic and innovation in his work. There is real depth in what he does. Here is someone who is not only a great ambassador for Nottingham, but a creative who inspires"
