National Rural Touring Forum

National Rural Touring Forum (NRTF) represents 40 touring schemes covering nearly 2,000 mainly rural communities in England, Scotland and Wales. NRTF is the umbrella body for touring schemes involved in the promotion of professional arts events with rural and other communities. It helps its members increase access to the arts for rural and other communities by promoting the development and provision of professional arts activities.

British Dance Edition is the UK dance industry’s leading showcase event, profiling the very best of British dance to visitors from across the globe. The next BDE is set to take place from 3 - 6 February 2010. Targeting the occasional and frequent dance programmer from UK and abroad, BDE presents work that is diverse and contemporary; profiling new and emerging work, alongside some of the more well known and established companies touring dance today.

Sustained Theatre keeps issues relating to Black, Asian and minority ethnic theatre artists and practitioners alive and in the national debate. Sustained Theatre develops leadership, encourages critical debate, creates international links & builds national archives.

Organised by the Grahamstown Foundation, Africa's largest and most colourful cultural event offers a choice of the very best of both 
indigenous and imported talent. 
Every year for 8 days Grahamstown's population almost doubles, as over 
50 000 people flock to the city for a feast of arts, crafts and sheer 
entertainment The festival offers more than 500 shows from opera, cabaret, 
drama and jazz to stand-up comics and folk music.

XTRAX is a member of Without Walls, a consortium of eight outdoor festivals from across the UK. Sputnik by Fittings Multi Media Arts, Nocturne by Marc Brew Company and Tracking by StopGAP are all commissioned by Without Walls and appear on Friday 18th September as part of Platform 4 Piccadilly.
